Recently, the first YD97CR(T) carbon fiber blade from Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. rolled off the production line at the company's Bin County factory. This is the first 97-meter wind turbine blade under the company's carbon fiber project. Aosheng Technology provided the carbon fiber pultruded carbon sheet for the blade. Guided by customer needs, Aosheng closely cooperated with the customer in every process, including review, R&D, production, delivery, and customer service. To keep pace with the customer's production schedule, the R&D department worked at full capacity, completing the R&D task in just 10 days, ultimately contributing to the successful production of the blade.

Zhuzhou Times New Material Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Times New Material"), founded in 1984, is committed to integrating the dual-carbon concept into the entire process of product R&D, manufacturing, supply chain construction, and product service, firmly adhering to a high-quality development path of green and low-carbon development. Currently, its wind turbine blade production scale ranks second in China.

Larger drive blades and lightweight development

Carbon fiber breaks through the encirclement

Considering that blade length is a crucial factor affecting wind turbine power generation efficiency—longer blades have a larger swept area and can capture more wind energy—larger wind turbines are becoming a future development trend, driven by the increasing power output of individual units. In line with this trend, carbon fiber can fully leverage its lightweight advantages. Compared to glass fiber, the tensile modulus of elasticity of carbon fiber reinforced materials is 2-3 times that of glass fiber reinforced materials. Using carbon fiber reinforced materials in large blades allows for full utilization of its high elasticity and light weight. The main application of carbon fiber in wind turbine blades is in the main beam. Compared to blades with the same level of glass fiber main beam, blades using carbon fiber main beams can reduce weight by 20%-30%, reducing the load transmitted to the main unit. This results in a 15%-20% weight reduction for structural components such as the hub, nacelle, tower, and foundation, effectively reducing the overall cost of the wind turbine by more than 10%. The wind power industry is an important application area for carbon fiber. According to data, in 2022, the proportion of carbon fiber used in the wind power field globally and in China was 25.7% and 23.5% respectively, ranking first and second among all application areas.

Large-scale manufacturing drives continuous advancement in materials technology.

The "Little Giant" emerged at the right time.

The mainstream technologies for producing wind turbine blades include vacuum infusion molding, prepreg laying, and pultrusion. Pultrusion molding boasts a raw material utilization rate exceeding 95%. Compared to infusion molding, pultruded carbon fiber sheets exhibit a 25% increase in tensile modulus and a 42% increase in compressive strength. Aosheng Technology has dedicated itself to the research and development of carbon fiber sheet manufacturing technology for wind turbine blades for many years, becoming an indispensable leading enterprise in the wind power industry's supply chain with its mature pultrusion molding process. The 97-meter wind turbine blade carbon sheets supplied to Times New Material are manufactured using an integrated pultrusion molding process.

Starting in 2017, Aosheng Technology capitalized on the development momentum of new energy wind power, developing carbon fiber pultruded beams for wind turbine blades. In 2020, Aosheng Technology was recognized as a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise for its "specialized, refined, and innovative" advantages. In 2021, Aosheng Technology's "carbon fiber pultruded plate for wind turbine blades" was shortlisted for the sixth batch of "Manufacturing Single Champion Products" honor by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. In November 2023, Aosheng Technology won the "2023 Global Supplier Best Quality Award" issued by Vestas, an international wind power giant.

With its excellent delivery capabilities, outstanding cost control, and rigorous safety and quality management, Aosheng Technology's wind turbine carbon beam products have become benchmark products in the global wind power industry chain. Moving forward, the company will continue to focus on technological innovation, deepen product applications, and provide professional technical support and solutions tailored to customer needs, offering comprehensive services tailored to individual requirements.
