On the afternoon of November 1st, the first meeting of the second session of the Suzhou Wujiang District Overseas Chinese Business Association was held. Zhang Ni, member of the Party Leadership Group and Vice Chairman of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Zhang Zhizhong, Director of the Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs Division of the Jiangsu Provincial United Front Work Department; Li Wenhui, Secretary of the Party Leadership Group and Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Deng Bing, Deputy Minister of the Suzhou Municipal United Front Work Department; and Jin Guoqiang, Vice President of the Suzhou Overseas Friendship Association, were invited to attend the event. Yang Bin, member of the Standing Committee of the Wujiang District Committee, Minister of the United Front Work Department, and Minister of the Organization Department, and Chen Jianzhong, Deputy District Mayor of the Wujiang District People's Government, also participated in the event.

Prior to the meeting, the Suzhou Wujiang District Overseas Chinese Business Association held a leadership transition meeting, electing members of the second council, board of supervisors, and leadership team. Xu Wenqian, chairman of Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., was elected president.

At the meeting, Chairman Xu Wenqian made a statement. During his tenure, he pledged to closely focus on the overall work of the district, unite and lead all members with full enthusiasm, high morale, and unwavering confidence to actively participate in Wujiang's high-quality development and the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta's ecological and green development. He vowed to strive for excellence and make every effort to create a new landscape for the Wujiang District Overseas Chinese Business Association!
