On the afternoon of September 28th, the inauguration ceremony of the second board of directors of the Hong Kong Suzhou Chamber of Commerce was held in Suzhou to celebrate the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the 73rd anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China. Leung Chun-ying, Vice Chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference and former Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, sent a congratulatory letter. Recently, after thorough deliberation and consultation, the Hong Kong Suzhou Chamber of Commerce held its fourth meeting of the first board of directors and the fourth meeting of the first standing board of directors online, electing the leadership of the second board of directors. Xu Wenqian, chairman of Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., was elected as the new executive vice president of the Hong Kong Suzhou Chamber of Commerce.

In his congratulatory letter, Leung Chun-ying stated that this year marks the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland, coinciding with the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, making it a significant and memorable occasion worthy of our pride. Leung Chun-ying pointed out that President Xi Jinping's important speech at the celebration of the 25th anniversary of Hong Kong's return to the motherland and the inauguration ceremony of the sixth government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region has boosted Hong Kong's morale and confidence, ushering in a new stage of Hong Kong's transition from governance to prosperity. As Hong Kong continues to integrate into the new pattern of national development, the level of exchange between the mainland and Hong Kong is deepening. Hong Kong and Suzhou share a deep historical connection, maintaining very close economic and trade relations and engaging in extensive exchanges and cooperation in science and technology, culture, and social affairs.
