The 2022 (15th) International Automotive Lightweighting Conference and Exhibition, hosted by the China Society of Automotive Engineers, Jiangsu Provincial Association for Science and Technology, Automotive Lightweighting Technology Innovation Strategic Alliance, and Yangzhou Municipal People's Government, and organized by China National Automotive Lightweighting Technology Research Institute (Beijing) Co., Ltd., CITIC Metal Co., Ltd. (Body Conference), and Hengxing International Exhibition Group Co., Ltd., was held in Yangzhou from August 10th to 12th. Aosheng Technology, a leader in the carbon fiber industry, showcased numerous professional carbon fiber composite material solutions at the exhibition, exploring the prospects and future of carbon fiber composite materials in automotive lightweighting with industry peers.

This conference will focus on the exchange of ideas on new materials and advanced forming processes, and will invite domestic and foreign experts to share automotive lightweighting industry policies, technical routes and lightweighting solutions for vehicle manufacturers. It will also discuss key technical issues that urgently need to be addressed, such as hot-formed steel, high-performance cast aluminum alloys, cast magnesium alloys, carbon fiber composites, high-performance plastics and micro-foamed materials, advanced structural design, dissimilar material joining, and lightweighting of key components for commercial vehicle chassis.
