On November 28, 2024, the highly anticipated national standard "Pultruded Sheets of Fiber Reinforced Composite Materials for Wind Turbine Blades" was officially released and will come into effect on June 1, 2025. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee on Standardization of Fiber Reinforced Plastics (TC39), with the China Building Materials Federation serving as the competent authority. Twenty-five organizations, including Tsinghua University, Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd., and Sinoma Science & Technology Wind Turbine Blade Co., Ltd., participated in the drafting of the standard. The release of this standard marks a new stage of greater standardization and regulation for the production and application of fiber reinforced composite pultruded sheets for wind turbine blades in my country.
