To promote the development of skilled personnel among all factory workers and to build a platform for the growth and development of frontline employees, the 3rd "Aosheng Cup" Employee Skills Competition in 2024, hosted by the Pingwang Town Federation of Trade Unions and organized by the Aosheng Technology Trade Union, recently concluded successfully. All participants strived for excellence, learning from and surpassing each other, and embodying the spirit of craftsmanship through exchange and competition.
Unlike the previous two skills competitions, which focused on "laying a solid foundation," this skills competition placed greater emphasis on "enriching content." It reflected both the demand for multi-skilled employees and the higher skill requirements imposed on employees by the trends of intelligent and information-based development. This further promoted the optimization of the skilled workforce structure and solidified the foundation of skilled talent for the company's green, healthy, and sustainable development.
This competition consisted of six events: yarn splicing, packaging, quality inspection, UT (Usage Test), wiring of simulated crane control circuit, and test programming. It combined written and practical tests. In the mandatory knowledge section, participants remained calm and composed, demonstrating clear thinking and confidence. In the practical operation section, participants performed precise operations, completing each competition segment to a high standard.
Aiming at the "high end" and reflecting "differentiation," this year's skills competition emphasizes "the competition following the industry and the technology revolving around demand" in the face of the deepening development of a new round of technological revolution and industrial transformation. A highly skilled workforce with a reasonable structure, superb skills, and excellent quality is rapidly being assembled.
After fierce competition, the competition awarded 6 first prizes, 9 second prizes, 12 third prizes, and 14 honorable mentions. The trade union prepared prizes for the winners, including electric bicycles, refrigerators, and tower fans. Wang Qun, vice chairman of the Pingwang Town Federation of Trade Unions, and Zhang Dongling, chairman of the Aosheng Technology Trade Union, presented the prizes to the winners.
