The establishment of the Aosheng Technology Postdoctoral Innovation Practice Base has been approved.

Recently, the Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security announced the approved list for the establishment of postdoctoral innovation practice bases in Jiangsu Province in 2020, and Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Aosheng Technology") in our town was included on the list.


Aosheng Technology's main business is carbon fiber and its composite materials, ranking among the leading domestic companies in this field.  It is one of the top ten well-known companies in the carbon fiber industry, and has long been committed to the development of carbon fiber reinforced composite materials (CFRP), achieving significant results. Its key technologies and products are leading in China, having solved the problems of ultra-thin carbon fiber prepregs and weaving, enriched the anti-warping theory of ultra-thin carbon fiber composite panels, and broken through the technical bottleneck of continuous molding of carbon fiber composite materials. This has broken the foreign monopoly on the application of carbon fiber in mass-produced electronic products such as laptops. Aosheng Technology has seized the trend of wind power development, developed corresponding products, and quickly captured the market. Currently, Aosheng Technology's carbon fiber consumption exceeds 10,000 tons. Aosheng Technology has made outstanding contributions in the fields of wind power, electronic products, medical devices, and transportation, promoting the industrial application of carbon fiber composite materials in Jiangsu and even nationwide.


In recent years, Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Co., Ltd. has increased its investment in R&D, and has been selected as a National High-tech Enterprise, a National and Jiangsu Provincial "Little Giant" Enterprise, a Suzhou Specialized, Refined, and Innovative Enterprise, and a Suzhou Gazelle Enterprise. Currently, the company has three provincial-level and three municipal-level technology platforms, and collaborates with the Ningbo Institute of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Suzhou University in industry-university-research cooperation. It has successively won numerous awards, including the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, the Third Prize for Science and Technology from Jiangsu Province, the Gold Patent Award for Scientific and Technological Progress from the China National Textile and Apparel Council, and the Second Prize for Scientific and Technological Progress from Suzhou City.


While striving to develop new products and technologies in the field of carbon fiber and its composite materials, Aosheng Technology has invested heavily in creating intelligent workshops, improving both hardware and software, and comprehensively increasing production efficiency. "Currently, Aosheng Technology ranks first in the world in carbon fiber usage, market share of pultruded carbon fiber composite panels for wind turbine blades, and market share of carbon fiber mechanics for magnetic resonance imaging. The company has already completed intelligent upgrades on 103 production lines, achieving automated production," said Yan Bing, Marketing Director of Aosheng Technology. "The carbon fiber industry is a brand-new industry. At the beginning of the transformation, there was no reference technology, and no general-purpose equipment. Everything had to be explored and developed by the company's R&D team."


Technological progress is inseparable from the innovation of high-level talents. Aosheng Technology has nearly 100 R&D personnel with bachelor's degrees or above and has obtained 17 authorized invention patents. However, compared with the development speed and industry innovation needs, the talent gap is still very large. This year, the company actively applied for a postdoctoral innovation practice base to build a platform for attracting more high-level talents.


The town's Party Committee and government actively supported Aosheng Technology, this "little giant," to accelerate its development. On the one hand, they increased incentives for scientific and technological talents, and on the other hand, they provided services and resource guidance. In 2020, Aosheng Technology signed a cooperation agreement with Wujiang Zhonglu Industrial Park to utilize resources from universities and research institutions to establish the Aosheng Carbon Fiber Composite Materials Research Institute. Through industry-university cooperation, they will jointly cultivate talents in the field of composite materials, striving to lay a talent foundation for high-quality development.
