Entrepreneurship in China, Success in Suzhou

On December 23rd, the "Entrepreneurship in China, Success in Suzhou" Suzhou Overseas Chinese Business Association New Year's Gala was held at the Suzhou Broadcasting and Television Station Modern Media Plaza studio.  The event vividly showcased, from diverse perspectives, the patriotic spirit and deep affection for their homeland of overseas Chinese businesspeople in the new era.  Leaders attending the event included Yao Linrong, Member of the Standing Committee of the Suzhou Municipal Committee and Minister of the United Front Work Department; Liu Biao, Vice Chairman and Party Group Member of the Jiangsu Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Wang Hongsheng, Vice Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Suzhou Municipal People's Congress; Chen Xiongwei, Vice Chairman of the Suzhou Municipal Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference; Qian Peihua, Executive Deputy Minister of the United Front Work Department of the Suzhou Municipal Committee and Party Secretary of the Suzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Shen Jinhua, Chairman of the Suzhou Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; and Shen Ling, Party Secretary and Director of the Suzhou Broadcasting and Television Station. Xu Wenqian, Chairman of Aosheng Technology, was invited to attend the event.

In his speech, Minister Yao Linrong stated that since the beginning of this year, the Suzhou Overseas Chinese Chamber of Commerce has fully leveraged its unique advantages of extensive connections and abundant resources, closely focusing on the central work of the municipal Party committee and government.  It has carried out much effective work in areas such as serving talent and attracting projects, protecting the legitimate rights and interests of overseas Chinese businesspeople, and telling the story of Suzhou. He hoped that overseas Chinese businesspeople would grasp the theme of "uniting the hearts and minds of overseas Chinese to jointly realize and share the Chinese Dream," closely integrate this with the key priorities of Suzhou's "14th Five-Year Plan," and dedicate their patriotic feelings and aspirations to the new practice of reform and opening up, making new contributions to ensuring that Suzhou remains at the forefront of the province and the country in the new journey of socialist modernization.

To showcase the achievements of overseas Chinese businesspeople and promote positive energy in the new era, this New Year's reception specifically included an awards ceremony.  Awards such as the People's Choice Employer Award, Contribution to Overseas Chinese Community Award, Entrepreneurial Rising Star Award, Philanthropy and Charity Award, Outstanding Party Building Award, Innovation and Technology Award, and Star Member Award were presented to commend and encourage overseas Chinese business association member enterprises that have made outstanding contributions in strengthening Party building leadership, promoting the development of the business association, serving economic development, leading technological breakthroughs, and supporting public welfare. Mr. Xu Wenqian, Chairman of Aosheng Technology, received the Innovation and Technology Award.

Jiangsu Aosheng Composite Materials Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Aosheng Technology) was founded in 2002 and is located in Zhonglu Science and Technology Park, Wujiang District, Suzhou City. Initially, Aosheng Technology was engaged in the production and sales of textile chemical fibers. In 2006, the company resolutely decided to transform its products and upgrade its industry, shifting to the carbon fiber composite materials industry, which was relatively niche and technically challenging at the time. After more than ten years of continuous innovation, the company has developed from its initial carbon fiber weaving to a comprehensive range of products including carbon fiber weaving, prepregging, pultrusion, filament winding, molding, and other customized processing of special-shaped parts, meeting diverse customer requirements and offering customized services.
