Academician Du Shanyi of the Chinese Academy of Engineering visited Aosheng Technology to provide guidance.

On November 11th, Mr. Du Shanyi, a mechanics and composite materials expert and academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, visited Aosheng Technology to provide guidance.  Aosheng Technology's Chairman Xu Wenqian, Deputy General Manager Wang Changhong, and Marketing Director Yan Bing welcomed Academician Du and introduced him to the company's development.

First, Xu Wenqian, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aosheng Technology, and Yan Bing, Marketing Director, introduced the main aspects of Aosheng Technology to Academician Du. Founded in 2002, Aosheng Technology initially focused on the production and sales of textile fibers. In 2006, the company made a decisive decision to transform its products and upgrade its industry, shifting to the carbon fiber composite materials industry, which was relatively niche and technically challenging at the time. After more than ten years of effort, the company has developed from its initial carbon fiber weaving to a comprehensive range of processes including carbon fiber weaving, prepregging, pultrusion, filament winding, molding, and other special-shaped parts processing, offering a complete range of services to meet various customer requirements and provide customized solutions. In 2017, Aosheng Technology entered the wind power sector. With the rapid growth of the wind power market, the company's carbon fiber consumption reached 7,000 tons in 2019, and is expected to exceed 10,000 tons in 2020, achieving rapid growth in sales and profits.


Subsequently, Academician Du visited the wind power production workshop. Mr. Zhang, the deputy general manager of the wind power division, introduced the production status of the workshop. Currently, Aosheng Technology has 72 pultrusion lines, and it is expected to increase the number of production lines to 102 next year.

Under the guidance of Manager Yue from the work-in-progress division, Academician Du visited the company's prepreg production line, autoclave production line, and RTM production line.  Currently, Aosheng Technology is collaborating with a certain automobile manufacturer to produce carbon fiber car hoods. Academician Du personally lifted a hood on-site, experiencing firsthand the weight reduction benefits of carbon fiber.

Academician Du personally experienced the lightweight properties of carbon fiber materials.

Academician Du expressed his approval of Aosheng's development, noting that Aosheng Technology is the first company in China to break the 10,000-ton mark in the carbon fiber field. He expressed his hope that Aosheng will continue to make progress and achieve even more outstanding results in the future.

Biography of Academician Du Shanyi


Du Shanyi is an expert in mechanics and composite materials. He was born in Dalian, Liaoning Province. He graduated from the Department of Modern Mechanics at the University of Science and Technology of China in 1964 and later served as a visiting scholar at George Washington University in the United States. He has served as Vice President of Harbin Institute of Technology, a representative to the 10th and 11th National People's Congress, an executive committee member of the International Committee on Composite Materials, the head of the expert group for major research programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the chairman of the Chinese Society for Composite Materials, and the vice chairman of the Chinese Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, among other positions. He was elected as an academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering in 1999.
